Keep coming back to hear about all the latest moves on Parliament Hill.
Word on the street (Wellington Street) is that Director of Issues Management at the PMO, William Stairs, is leaving that position to become some sort of a special advisor. Stairs, Ottawa watchers will recall, has had a long history in Conservative politics. He was most famously Stephen Harper's first, and shortest serving Director of Communications in the PMO, before migrating over to become Vic Toew's chief of staff. Stairs, a well known, martial arts enthusiast was the Director of Communications in Harper's OLO and a well known PC activist and staffer before the merger of the PCs and Alliance. Besides all the Giorno rumours, this creates another gap in the PMO leadership team which just saw Dan Robertson leave to move over to the Conservative Resource Group.
