Bernier raises money out west

Former cabinet minister and new darling of the fiscal conservative right, Maxime Bernier, is straying far from his usual stomping grounds to raise some money for his Beauce riding association.

On September 30th a fund-raising dinner is being held in a private home in Calgary. Tickets are going for somewhere between $200 and $300. The exact location is undisclosed but is rumoured to be the home of Don Gray, the oil trust wunderkind who is said to have made something north of $60 million while running the Peyto Energy Trust.
